Early voting continues until day before November 8 elections

MINNEAPOLIS — Early voting for the Tuesday, November 8 general election — underway since September 23 — will continue to be available up until Monday, November 7.
According to state law, any registered voter may vote early for any reason.
Voters may go to their local county election office or other designated early
voting center to cast their vote early in-person.
Eligible voters who are not yet registered to vote may register at an early voting site.
Same-day voter registration also is available on election day at local polling places.
The November 8 ballot will include:
• All of the state’s eight U.S. Representatives;
• Minnesota Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State and State Auditor;
• All members of the Minnesota House and Senate;
• Local offices including city councils, mayors, county commissioners, school board members.

In certain communities, school levy requests also will be on the November 8 ballot.
Early Vote Centers for Minneapolis residents
For Minneapolis residents only, early voting will be available at Minneapolis Elections & Voter Services, 980 Hennepin Ave. E., through November 7.
Hours there will include:
• 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, October 24 through November 4;
• 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturdays, October 29, November 5;
•12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m., Sundays, October 30, November 6.
Beginning November 1, also for Minneapolis residents only, three additional early voting locations will open:

Hours at the three additional early vote centers will be:
• 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, November 1-4
• 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Saturday, November 5
• 12:00 noon - 5:00 p.m , Sunday, November 6
• 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday, November 7
At the Early Vote Centers, Minneapolis voters also may drop-off absentee ballots they received in the mail.

Early in-person voting for Hennepin County residents
For Hennepin County residents, early in-person voting will be available at the Hennepin County Government Center (skyway level) at 300 So. 6th St. in downtown Minneapolis.
Hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday through October 28. Extended weekday hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from October 31 to November 7.
Saturday hours will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. October 29 and November 5.
